Sonya (she/they/ella/elle) earned a B.A. in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Global Environmental Justice from UC Santa Cruz and is currently pursuing an MFA in Writing at the University of San Francisco. A radical writer, educator, and ecologist, she’s determined to protect people and the planet through poetry. Their writing is dedicated to the sweetest pup, Lily.
