I believe words change the world. My work can be found in Mission Local, KQED, Journal X, Chinquapin Literary Magazine, and is forthcoming from Fourteen Hills. A former Nonfiction Editor of Invisible City Literary Journal, Creative in Residence at The Ruby, Recipient of the Robin Seaman Award from Bay Area Women in Publishing, and Postgraduate Creative Writing Teaching Fellow at the University of San Francisco, today, I’m writing with love in the Inner Richmond of San Francisco. I hold an MFA in Writing from the University of San Francisco focused in Poetry and a BA in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Global Environmental Justice from UC Santa Cruz. My work is dedicated to Anita and Lily, my abuela and my sweet pup, who snore the same.
